Overview

 

Here is a simple method for connecting the PlayStation 5 system to the VostroNet network. The following procedure describes a typical setup when connecting to the VostroNet network.

 

  1. Power on the PS5 without a disc in the system.
  2. In the PS5 menu, arrow up and select Settings.
  3. Scroll down to Network.
  4. Scroll down to View Connection Status.
  5. The MAC Address will be listed next to MAC Address (LAN) and MAC Address (Wi-Fi).
Log onto the VostroNet Portal using another device and add the Wi-Fi MAC Address if you are connecting your PlayStation 5 via Wi-Fi or LAN MAC Address if you are connecting via ethernet/LAN cable.
 
After you added the MAC Address of your PlayStation 5 to the VostroNet Portal, please do the steps below:
  1. Power on the PS5 without a disc in the system.
  2. Connect to "VostroNet Connect"
  3. In the PS5 menu, arrow up and select Settings.
  4. Go to the User Guide
  5. A web browser will load. Go to https://vost.ro/legacy
  6. Login with your login details. It will add the device to your profile.
  7. Test the internet connection by connecting to PSN.
